A lightweight off-road electric vehicle programme, developed with the client's engineering team from chassis layout through exterior design and colour and finish.

Challenge
The hard points were fixed early: roll structure, suspension travel, battery volume and approach angles. The design had to give the vehicle a character of its own without moving any of them.
User and product research
Benchmarking across utility and recreational off-road platforms established the proportions, protection strategy and service expectations the vehicle would be measured against.
Industrial design
A faceted, machine-cut language was applied to the body panels and protective structure, with the accent colour used functionally — to mark the structure that takes the impact, not as decoration.
Human factors
Ingress, seating position, visibility over the front bodywork and reach to controls were resolved against the roll cage geometry before surfaces were finalised.
Prototype and testing
Full-scale digital assemblies and physical mock-ups were used to check clearance, panel splits and fastening strategy against the fabricated chassis.
Final solution
A coherent vehicle identity built from fabricable panels and standard hardware, ready for low-volume production.
